What are packaging sleeves?
Typically made of thin printed card material, packaging sleeves are supplementary box accessories that wrap around the primary package and slide off to reveal the box within. Think of it as a well-dressed box!
So, why would you use one?
- Sustainable packaging design: a sleeve is a lightweight material that is typically recyclable and eco-friendly, and it also allows the interior box to be manufactured in a greener way. Choose a plain cardboard box for your primary box and a colourful, branded sleeve to show off your logo and company and make a minimal impact on the environment.
- A smooth unboxing experience: it’s like two packages in one, and uber fun to slide off and reveal the contents within!
- Cost-effective: manufacturing paper packaging sleeves can be more affordable than making fully branded boxes out of more luxurious materials. A sleeve is also a flexible option for changing up your packaging design without designing totally new boxes.
