Q. Is the delivery cost included in the price of the custom boxes?
A. Yes, for all UK mainland destinations. There is a small extra charge for UK offshore deliveries. Overseas customers are asked to contact us for a quotation. Please see our delivery page for more information.
Q. Is VAT included in the price of my packaging?
A. Yes, VAT is included – there are no ‘hidden costs’ on our website.
Q. I want a different covering material and colour for the lid and the base of my box – can you help?
A. Yes we can. Please contact us and we will be delighted to talk you though the options for our packaging material. In general, as long as the covering materials you choose for your packaging are from the same manufacturer, you can mix and match as you please.
Q. I would like a different colour (other than white) on the inside of my custom box – can you do this for me?
A. Yes we can. For an additional fee the inside of your box can be whatever colour you require. The cost quoted on our website is for a plain white interior. Please contact us to find out more and get a quote for a coloured interior.
Q. Do you offer storage facilities? I would like to order a large quantity of product boxes, but have them delivered to me in smaller batches. Can you offer this service?
A. Yes, we have substantial storage facilities and will be happy to store your boxes for you and deliver them in smaller batches when you need them – this means that you can order in bulk and benefit from reduced unit prices.
Q. I’d like to see a sample – can I order one box on its own?
A. Yes you can. When you place your order you will be able to order 1 sample box if you wish. The cost of the sample box will be subtracted from your total order cost when you place the full order. You may prefer to order some samples of our packaging materials – these samples are completely free and you may order as many as you wish.
Q. What happens if I don’t like my boxes once I receive them? Do you accept returns?
A. Because all of our boxes are custom made to your specific requirements orders CANNOT be returned unless they have been delivered damaged, have a manufacturing fault, are not built to specification or an incorrect item has been sent to you in error.
Q. How long will it take from placing my order to receiving it?
A. We aim to deliver your custom boxes within 2 weeks of you placing your order.
Q. Is my box unique to me? Can anyone copy it?
A. If you create your own design then your box will be totally unique to you! Your packaging designs will be kept safely in your account which is accessible only by entering your email address and password, so if you keep your password safe your designs will be safe, too. Q. What is the largest / smallest sized box I can create using the Box Designer tool?
- Smallest square/oblong box: 1.3cm height x 3.4cm long x 3.4cm wide
- Largest square/oblong box: 12.5cm height x 70cm long x 55cm wide
- Smallest cylindrical box: 2cm height x 3.3cm in diameter
- Largest cylindrical box: 14.5cm height x 18.5cm in diameter
- Lid height for any box ranges from 1.2cm up to the height of the box.
Q. I need a box size that your Box Designer doesn’t cater for – can you help?
A. Very probably yes. Please contact us with your requirements and we will be happy to help.
Q. What is the largest / smallest number of custom boxes I can order?
A. Using the Box Designer tool you can order up to 5,000 boxes – but if you need more than that please contact us and we’ll do our best to help. There is a minimum order number of 30 for square boxes and 500 for cylindrical boxes.
Q. I want to purchase a very large quantity of boxes – do I get additional discount?
A. Yes! The larger the number of boxes you buy the larger the discount you will be entitled to – why not contact us to see how much you could save!
Q. What are your boxes made of?
A. Our boxes are made from cardboard covered with high quality paper. All our papers and boards are from suppliers who source from sustainable, managed forests. The specifics are as follows:
Our cylindrical boxes are made from pulpboard which is:
- Totally chlorine free
Our square/oblong boxes are made from:
- Fibre source: 100% post-consumer recycled waste
- Bleaching: The pulp in this product is not bleached
- Board thickness: 2mm or 1.2mm
- Disposal: This material can be disposed of by recycling, incineration for energy recovery or is biodegradable
Package overing materials:
- Wood-free, acid-free, biodegradable and age-resistant
- FSC certification
- ECF (Elemental Chlorine Free) fibre
- Totally recyclable
Q. I need a personalised box to contain and protect fragile items. Can you do this?
A. Yes – if your items are fragile you need a suitable insert to properly protect them. We supply a variety of different box inserts (cardboard, foam or polystyrene) which can be manufactured specifically to contain and protect your items. As a further safeguard you could consider the use of individual, corrugated outer packaging, which we also supply on a made-to-measure basis. Please contact us to discuss the various packaging options we can supply.
Q. Can you manufacture bespoke / exotic box shapes?
A. Yes we can. Let your imagination run wild! You may be surprised at the different shapes and styles of boxes that we can create; if you can imagine it we can probably manufacture it! Contact us and we will be very happy to discuss your requirements.

Q. How will I be invoiced for my custom box order?
A. Goods are paid for prior to their dispatch (pro forma) and your invoice will be included with your delivery.
Q. I have a Purchase Order number. Where should I put it?
A. Please contact us with your order number and we will include it on your invoice.
