Decide on your order quantity
Choose as few as just 30 boxes when you place an order with Packaging Works! However, keep in mind that buying in bulk can save you money in the long-term.
Measure your product’s LxWxH
If you have a single product, take note of its dimensions, or if you are interested in packaging multiple items in a gift box, arrange them as you might like to see them in the box and measure the approximate area that you will need for your packaging. If your products are awkwardly shaped, we are happy to help you with measurements and can discuss the best ways of packaging the products within the box.
Choose a box style
How do you picture your unboxing experience? There are many styles of custom boxes available, including:
- standard box + lid design
- magnetic closure packaging
- tube packaging
- pillow boxes
- flat pack packaging that folds down for easy storage
- clamshell boxes
The possibilities are endless when it comes to the style and function of boxes designed by Packaging Works, so get in touch if you have a unique idea for your packaging style.
Consider accessories and features of your packaging
Would you like to add some extra pizzazz to your branded box? Challenge accepted! Choose from some of the following safety and stylish additions to your packaging:
- clear windows to showcase your product
- ribbons
- tissue paper
- inserts – available in any material and shape you require, including cardboard cut-outs, foam, fabric, or whatever you desire – we’ve even included fake turf in a box before!
- bespoke gift bags
Send us your logo, brand colours and design ideas
Now the fun part: designing your box! Choose your colours, see how your logo looks on the box using our box designer tool, and consider patterns, textures, and other creative design features for your packaging.
Review your box net
Our team of packaging dorks will send you a ‘box net’ for your final approval – a CAD illustration of your box design.
Request an optional sample
If you’d like to see your box in advance before committing to a large order, we can send you a prototype! Have a look at one of your boxes and then when you place your final order, the cost of the your sample box will simply be taken from your final order.
Get your boxes!
Once you are satisfied with your box design, it’s go time! You will receive your boxes within two weeks of finalising your order. Ta da! Beautiful branded boxes, baby!
